In the summer of 1994, David Frost bought a 300-acre wine farm at the foot of the Paardeberg mountain range near Paarl. It was the realisation of a lifelong dreams of producing fine wine from his own grapes.

So in his bid to do something for the golfing community, David Frost has launched the David Frost Signature Series range of wines. Aimed at golfers and those who associate themselves with this game of skill and precision, these wines represent fine quality at affordable prices.

Through the launch of his Signature Series range, David Frost has placed excellent wines within reach of all who recognise the integrity behind the brand.

2009 Classic Red

A deep purple blend, with a dark fruit nose consisting of black berries, blackcurrants and plums. The intensity of the fruit is carried on to the palate where it fills one’s mouth with juicy tannins and ripe, dark, fruit and mint undertones. The aftertaste is long and fruity. Suitable for vegetarians, but not for vegans. Enjoy with red meat pasta, pizza, spicy curry and poultry.

2010 Chenin Blanc

A full-bodied Chenin, well balanced with a guava nose and lots of tropical flavours. Fresh palate with long aftertaste. Suitable for vegetarians. The wine can be enjoyed on its own or with salads, fish and chicken.

2010 Soft Smooth Red

An off dry blend of, Shiraz, Cinsaut & Cabernet Sauvignon with a dark plum, spice, black and red berry nose. The residual sugar combined with soft, elegant tannins and ripe fruit makes for effortless drinking pleasure. A must for the 'not so dry' wine lover! This is an easy, everyday drinking wine that compliments curries and stews.

2010 Shiraz

A deep purple Shiraz, with a dark plum, black berry and spicy nose. The intensity of the fruit is carried on to the palate where it fills one’s mouth with juicy tannins and ripe, dark, sweet fruit. The aftertaste is long and integrated. Suitable for vegetarians, but not for vegans. Spicy pizza’s, pasta’s and BBQ basted meats goes well with this Shiraz.
